We announce that 42.7 ECM credits (equal to the 82.5% of the total of the annual requirement) have been certified to the Workshop “Science and Technology of Narrative Medicine”.
The intensive and advanced level Workshop, organised by the Health and Well-being Area of ISTUD Foundation, wants to present the most refined and current tools of this field, with the purpose of elaborating application strategies of Narrative Medicine in the organizational context, analyzing the evidences emerging from narratives in healthcare, and communicating them scientifically through publications.
In a training context that provides for italian and international lectureships, laboratories, and the narrative practice in clinical communication, in risk-management, and in decision-making, participants will be followed by an expert advice in the fulfillment of a Narrative Medicine project, with the aim to concretely improve healthcare practices.
A Workshop which is really innovative in its undertaken path – to create a dialogue between elements and practices necessary to Narrative Medicine to be a discipline improving cares and, in line with healthcare management needs, to implement their organization and sustainability: narrative skills, on one hand, and the most current technologies on the other hand.
