Art and colour in hospital

ISTUD Foundation together with DANSAC has devised a project to introduce the use of art within the ostomy clinic. Using the artistic skills of the students of an artistic high school, the initiative involves the production of figurative representations starting from the narration and listening to stories of people with ostomy and the realization of a wall work within a hospital space.

The use of the arts (painting, sculpture, music, dance, theater, construction and storytelling, short stories, etc.) in care settings and in particular in health-care facilities can promote health and healing, raising the level of wellbeing of those who live there.
